Growing Spiritually While Making a Difference
Share in worship and prayer this Sunday Lead Pastor David Brown will spread the gospel of how we Grow Spiritually While Making a Difference!
When we grow spiritually, we start our journey into making a difference in our communities by making disciples of Jesus Christ. Today is a special performance by the Armstrong Bell Choir directed by Chester Imhausen this performance features Raise the Songs of Harvest for our Prelude and Celebration for a Festival during the Offertory. During the service we will have the Armstrong’s Chancel Choir accompanied by Stacy Haney on the organ and piano. During this worship we will highlight what is happening in our Children’s Sunday School with a special Children’s Moment with Dianna Sheely. Special thanks to Steve H. for being the liturgist and leading us in the Call to Worship and scripture passages.
This week we are excited to highlight and hear from one of our groups that we support! This couple is going to share how they make a difference by spreading their faith, and investing it into others to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
MISSION MOMENT
Mark and Sara Covel are coming alongside church planters and athletes with the gospel to equip people to share their faith, grow in their faith, and invest into others. They have served with Cru for almost two decades and have had both national and international assignments. Mark currently serves with Cru Church Movements and Sara serves with Athletes in Action. They reside in Xenia, Ohio and have three elementary aged children: Jared, Hannah, and Emily. Sara (formerly Neumann) grew up in Madeira and attended Armstrong’s youth group and many Elevation retreats from about 2000-2010.
