How do I become a member?

Membership classes at Armstrong are offered periodically and  involve 6 class sessions offered on Sunday mornings . The New Member class will be using A Disciple’s Path by James A. Harnish to guide one’s understanding of being a member of the United Methodist Church and Armstrong Chapel. Class participants will strengthen their appreciation for Wesleyan concepts of love and grace, the membership vows to uphold the church through prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness while also learning about spiritual practices and how to use their unique spiritual gifts. At the end of the class, participants will have an opportunity to join the church.
