Water-washed and Spirit-born
WELCOME — WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
This Sunday at Armstrong Chapel, we gather for worship as we reflect on “Water-Washed and Spirit-Born,” rooted in Acts 10:34–43. In this passage, Peter proclaims the good news that God shows no partiality and that through Jesus Christ, forgiveness, new life, and the gift of the Holy Spirit are offered to all. Together, we are invited to consider how God’s grace cleanses and renews us, calling each of us into lives shaped by Christ’s love.
Through Scripture, prayer, and song, we will explore what it means to be washed by God’s mercy and born anew through the work of the Holy Spirit. This service creates space for reflection on baptism, spiritual renewal, and the ongoing work of God within our church and our lives.
Worship will be enriched through the music of Wash, O God, Our Sons and Daughters, Cares Chorus, and Spirit of the Living God, as we lift our hearts together and open ourselves to God’s transforming presence.
We invite you to join us in person or online as we gather as one body, seeking renewal, hope, and the life-giving work of the Spirit among us.
Whether you’re worshiping in person or joining us online, may this time draw you deeper into God’s cleansing grace and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing in worship today!
