The Message of the Cross
WELCOME — WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
This Sunday at Armstrong Chapel, The Message of the Cross. The cross stands at the center of our faith—not as a symbol of defeat, but of God’s redeeming power and love. In this message, we’ll reflect on what the cross truly means in a world that often values strength, success, and self-reliance. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 1:17–18, we are reminded that what may appear as foolishness to the world is, in fact, the very power of God for those who believe.
Through Scripture, reflection, and worship, we’ll be invited to look again at the cross—not just as something from the past, but as a living message that still shapes our hope, humility, and faith today.
Worship will be enriched by the Armstrong Bell Choir and congregational hymns, including Christ, Whose Glory Fills the Skies, Jesus Calls Us, and The Old Rugged Cross, guiding us into a meaningful and reverent time of praise.

Whether you’re worshiping in person or joining us online, may this time draw you deeper into God’s cleansing grace and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing in worship today!
