Salt and Light
WELCOME — WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
This Sunday at Armstrong Chapel, we gather for worship as we reflect on “Salt and Light,” drawn from Matthew 5:13–16. In these words from the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus calls His followers to live with purpose and influence—bringing flavor, preservation, and illumination to the world around them. Salt and light are not meant to draw attention to themselves, but to quietly and faithfully shape what they touch, revealing God’s goodness through everyday living.
Through Scripture, prayer, and reflection, we will explore what it means to embody our faith in visible and meaningful ways—living lives that reflect Christ’s love, hope, and truth. This message invites us to consider how our words, actions, and presence can point others toward God, not through perfection, but through faithful witness and humble service.
Worship will be richly enhanced through beloved hymns including Ask Ye What Great Thing I Know, Precious Lord, Take My Hand, and This Little Light of Mine, along with special music from the Armstrong Bell Choir. Together, we’ll lift our hearts in praise as we celebrate the calling Christ gives us to shine His light in the world.

Whether you’re worshiping in person or joining us online, may this time draw you deeper into God’s cleansing grace and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing in worship today!
