Nature of Scripture
WELCOME — WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
“The Nature of Scripture” 2 Peter 1:19–21
This Sunday at Armstrong Chapel, we turn our hearts and minds to the gift and authority of God’s Word as we reflect on “The Nature of Scripture.” Rooted in 2 Peter 1:19–21, we are reminded that Scripture is not merely human insight or opinion, but the living and trustworthy Word of God—spoken through human authors as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Together, we will explore how the Bible serves as a steady light in uncertain times, guiding us toward Christ and shaping our faith, our worship, and our daily lives. In a world filled with competing voices, Scripture anchors us in truth and reveals the character and promises of God.
Our worship will be enriched through the powerful hymns “Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken,” “He Is Exalted,” and “O Word of God Incarnate,” as we lift our voices in praise to the God who still speaks through His Word.
We invite you to join us as we gather in reverence and joy, opening our hearts to the transforming power of Scripture and the faithful presence of the Holy Spirit at work among us.
