Accepting as Christ
WELCOME — WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
This Sunday, we continue our Advent series, “And His Name Shall Be Called,” as we reflect on what it means to welcome others with the same grace Christ extends to us. Drawing from Romans 15:5–7, we are reminded that the call to “accept one another” is rooted in the heart of Jesus Himself—whose coming brings unity, reconciliation, and hope to a divided world.
As we light the second candle of Advent, we turn our attention to the transforming power of Christlike acceptance. Through worship, Scripture, and reflection, we’ll explore how Christ’s humility and love shape the way we receive others, build community, and embody God’s peace.
Join us for a meaningful time of worship as Rev. David Brown shares a message of hope and encouragement for this season of preparation.
Our worship will be enriched by the ministry of the Armstrong Chancel Choir, with music led by Stacy Haney on organ and piano. Together, we’ll lift our voices as we begin this holy season with reverence and joy.
