The Chancel Choir elevates our spirits in harmony with the band performing the festive tune "An English Christmas" by Phillip Sparke, while The River's Edge Brass Band plays some of your Christmas favorite. You will have a chance to join in the merriment with a lively Carol Sing-A-Long, along with a medley of heartwarming Christmas melodies to fill the air with cheer. To bring it all together, talented Stacy Haney will be captivating us all with a thrilling finale of the Saint-Saens Organ Symphony.

About the artist
Organist, Stacy Wm. Haney has been teaching students of the Forest Hills School District for 25 years, this, his tenth year as director of the Anderson Vocal Arts, Anderson High School, Cincinnati, Ohio. He instructs the Tenor/Bass Chorus, the Treble Choir, the AHS Singers, the Chamber Choir, and the 7/8 Male Chorus at Nagel Middle School. In addition to choral ensembles, Mr. Haney also teaches AP Music Theory to students wanting to expand their musical knowledge, while understanding theoretical practices through music. Prior to teaching in Cincinnati, Mr. Haney began his teaching career in Long Island, NY, as the director of choirs at Babylon Jr/Sr High School. Mr. Haney has conducted honor choirs and has served as a clinician throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, New York, and Virginia!
Originally from Long Island, New York, Stacy started piano lessons at the age of eight, organ at fifteen, and began directing adult church choirs at sixteen. Mr. Haney holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a focus in organ performance and choral conducting from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, and completed his graduate degree in Music Education at Heidelberg University, Tiffin, Ohio. While attending BGSU, Stacy studied under the direction of Vernon Wolcott (organ), Wallace DePue (composition/theory), and Richard Mathey (choral studies). Stacy was awarded the music talent scholarship for outstanding achievement from BGSU’s College of Musical Arts’ organ department and is the organist at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio.
River’s Edge Brass Band is a Cincinnati based British Brass Band. REBB is staffed by some of Cincinnati’s best brass and percussion players, most being professional musicians or teachers at local high schools or colleges. British Brass Bands conform to a unique and specific type of instrumentation, with cornets taking the place of trumpets and tenor horns replacing French horns. The band also features a full percussion section.
