Fall also brings new opportunities for adults to connect, grow, and discover how faith can make a difference in our everyday lives.

This October, the Armstrong Men invite men throughout Indian Hill and the surrounding community to a special Lunch and Learn, “Humbler Leadership: How to Enhance Your Effectiveness and Enrich Your Life,” on Saturday, October 10, from noon–2:00 p.m. in the Worship Center.

The afternoon will feature Dr. Josh Wymore, PhD, PCC, author of Humbler Leadership, TEDx speaker, executive coach, and trainer who has worked with leaders in more than two dozen Fortune 500 companies as well as nonprofit organizations around the world.

We often think of successful leaders as bold, confident, and commanding. Yet decades of research show that humility can be one of a leader’s greatest strengths. Humble leaders make stronger strategic decisions, bring out the best in others, build better relationships, and can experience greater peace and purpose in their own lives.

During this practical and engaging event, Dr. Wymore will share stories, research, and concrete techniques men can use in their professional and personal lives. Participants will explore ways to deepen self-awareness, strengthen emotional intelligence, appreciate others, develop a growth mindset, make progress on stalled goals, and discover a greater sense of purpose.

Whether you lead a business, manage a team, serve in the community, mentor others, lead your family, or simply want to become a better version of yourself, the Armstrong Men invite you to share in an afternoon of lunch, fellowship, conversation, and growth.
