Armstrong Chapel and its ministries are made possible through the generous support of our members and friends. We invite our community to prayerfully discern how God may use their gifts—time, talents, and resources—to further the work of the church.
Financial contributions are welcome throughout the year and help sustain vibrant ministries such as Vacation Bible School, adult small groups, and meaningful worship experiences. In addition, your generosity allows Armstrong to support mission partners and outreach efforts including Found House Interfaith Housing Network, Madisonville Braves, IPM Food Pantry & Christmas Store, Habitat for Humanity, and many more.
Whether through a recurring commitment or a one-time gift, your support helps bring Armstrong’s mission to life and ensures its impact for generations to come. Grow spiritually while making a meaningful difference.
In late December and early January, the church will receive many contributions for several purposes including 2026 estimates and commitments, and the Christmas Offering. In order to assist us in carrying out your intentions, please be sure that your check or envelope clearly states how you would like your contribution to be applied.
FOR TAX PURPOSES, you will need to deliver 2026 pledge contributions to the church by December 31 in order to claim them in 2026. The IRS requires that charitable deductions be delivered in the year in which they are claimed. The ONLY exception to this is a check that is dated, mailed, and postmarked prior to the end of the year. In that case, the postmark constitutes the delivery date.
A check is written, mailed, and postmarked on Dec. 31, 2026. The church received the check on Jan. 2, 2027, however, this check is still deductible in 2026 since the postmark represents the delivery date.
