Disciple
Led by Kent Smith
Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the Armstrong Room

Disciple: Into the Word Into the World is the second study in the four-phase Disciple program.  This study proclaims the transforming power of Scripture while teaching Bible study skills that take participants deeper into the Scripture. The importance of keeping Bible study related to witness is reinforced while participants are encouraged to practice spiritual disciplines arising out of Scripture for the purpose of changing habits and transforming lives. The study also emphasizes the rhythm of coming to God and going for God, of being in the Word and in the world individually and corporately. This study understands the growing Christian as under discipline in community and in ministry to the world. Disciple: Into the Word Into the World approaches all experiences of life as opportunities for faithful witness and service.  Participants will each need to order a study manual and have a study Bible.

Let's embark together on this profound adventure of learning, discovery, and spiritual growth with the Bible as our guiding light.

Friday Morning Study
Led by Rev David Brown

Friday morning at 7:00 am in the Armstrong Room and Virtually

Every week a dedicated group of men gather in the cozy Armstrong Room for an enriching Bible study led by Lead Pastor Rev. David Brown. The study offers a verse-by-verse study of scripture. As the sun rises and the world outside begins to stir, this faithful community settles in, bibles and notebooks in hand, eager to unpack the sacred texts and glean new insights and wisdom.

The welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by the tantalizing aroma of fresh donuts, which are provided on a rotating basis by members of the group. The simple act of breaking bread together fosters a sense of camaraderie, as participants share stories, ask questions, and engage in lively discussion about the passage at hand. For those unable to attend in person, the study is also virtual via Zoom, allowing remote participants to join the conversation and feel connected to the group.  Donuts are provided on a rotating basis by members of the group. Faith in Action
Ongoing projects and mission work

Armstrong Men live out their faith through hands-on projects and local mission efforts that reflect a deep commitment to spiritual purpose and service. Throughout the year, members come together to support the church and surrounding community, putting God’s love into action in meaningful and practical ways.

Annual Golf Scramble
Teeing Up Fellowship, Fun, and Community Impact

Each July, Armstrong Men host an annual Golf Scramble featuring a shotgun start and a day of great golf, fellowship, and purpose. With perfect summer weather and beautiful green fairways, participants enjoy the game while supporting meaningful local causes. Proceeds from the event benefit Inter Parish Ministry, Freestore Foodbank, and the Madisonville Braves, making this outing a powerful blend of recreation, generosity, and community service.

Building Community Through the Game
Supporting the Madisonville Braves and investing in our young athletes

Armstrong Men proudly support the Madisonville Braves softball teams through various fundraising events that help provide resources for young athletes. These efforts strengthen community bonds while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and connection among boys and girls.

In a powerful moment during 2025s Super Charge Event, the Armstrong Men were able to present a donation to the Madisonville Braves to help support their baseball season. The money was raised during the Annual Men's Golf Scramble over the summer!

Coaches shared heartfelt reflections on the team’s journey, the impact of faith in their lives, and the community that stands behind them.

Faith. Fellowship. Love of the Game. Together, we’re building more than teams—we’re building faith-filled champions.
