Psalm 112:1-9 and Matthew 5:13-16
Salt and Light

This week, we gather for worship as we reflect on “Salt and Light,” based on Matthew 5:13–16. In these words from the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus calls His followers to live lives that quietly yet powerfully influence the world—bringing hope, truth, and love wherever they are placed. Salt and light are not meant to draw attention to themselves, but to reveal God’s goodness through faithful living. Join Rev. David Brown as he shares a message that invites us to consider how our everyday words, actions, and presence can point others toward Christ. This service encourages us to live authentically, serve humbly, and shine God’s light in both ordinary and meaningful ways.
