Blessed Are the Chosen
This eight-lesson interactive Bible study based on season 2 of the groundbreaking television show, The Chosen. This study brings both the Old and New Testaments to life in an approachable and conversational way. We will look deeper at God’s character, power, and promises using the framework of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount Script excerpts, quotes, and illustrations from each episode. Once we belong to Him, we’re not only given a new identity but ushered into a new reality—one that is sure, powerful, and life-changing.
And so—

Though we find the Gospel of Matthew first in the New Testament, many scholars believe that the Gospel of Mark is older. Matthew then is often seen as an expansion of Mark, incorporating most of the content of Mark while also adding sections that contain the teachings of Jesus, such as the Sermon on the Mount, and stories about the birth and infancy of Jesus. The Gospel of Matthew presents Jesus as "God with us" even until the end of time.
