Armstrong Leadership Update - May 2020

AN UPDATE FROM ARMSTRONG LEADERSHIP TEAM

The goal of Armstrong Chapel is to remain consistent with West Ohio Conference and Governor DeWine’s recommendations and guidelines in the restarting of gatherings. Leadership Team recommends that the church facilities remain closed until May 12. Specific guidelines will be shared at that time to help us reengage in face-to-face events.  Social Distancing standards of 6ft separation makes it virtually impossible to maintain previous room size and occupancy standards. We will help groups to understand space availability and new practices as these guidelines unfold.  All church activities in the AC buildings must be approved by the staff and guidelines established by the Leadership Team must be followed.  Zoom will continue to be available to participate in team, committee, and study gatherings.  (Scroll down for a button to schedule a Zoom meeting.)

Sunday, May 24th has been suggested as the first possible physical gatherings for worship in West Ohio which includes Armstrong Chapel. Continue to visit our website for worship and “Virtual Community” opportunities. Thank you for your continued prayers and support of the ministries of Armstrong Chapel.

These dates are current plans which may be changed based on decisions from the Bishop, Governor DeWine and the AC Leadership Team. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we balance safety with the desire to come together face to face as a Christian community.

 Grace and Peace,
Rev. David W. Brown, Lead Pastor
Jay Van Winkle, Leadership Chair
