Armstrong Habitat Supporters

Home Dedication

 at 1665 Jonathan Ave

This Saturday, August 13th at 10 am

The dedication ceremony for the new HABITAT FOR HUMANITY home for Blessing Avant and her 3 children.   As a support church, we provided volunteers at the work site and financial support through our missions budget. These dedication ceremonies are the culmination of everyone’s work and an inspirational event that makes it so clear why Armstrong Chapel supports local missions!

Meet Blessing and her family!
Blessing is a mother to three children Alexus, Alana, and Asaiah. She hopes to guide her children on the right path. “I want them to know that whatever life throws at them, they can overcome it.”

She told us that her girls are “nice and happy, respectful and loving. My children love to have fun and spend time reading and making people laugh.” Blessing is working to finish school and become a teacher. She is currently working on several jobs, including at Corryville Catholic School and Nella’s Place.
