This Veterans Day Sunday, we gather with grateful hearts to honor the men and women who have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and dedication.
In this week's sermon, “Defenders of Faith,” we reflect on Paul's words in 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13, which remind us to recognize those who labor among us, honor those who lead and serve, and live in peace with one another.
As we recognize our veterans, we are reminded that service is more than an act of duty—it is a reflection of commitment, humility, and love for others. Our faith calls each of us to live with that same spirit, standing firm in God's truth, serving our neighbors, and becoming instruments of His peace.
